12 Days of Christmas: Day 9
Christmas is about giving. This year, we’re looking to say thank you to the dedicated staff at Luton & Dunstable Hospital who will be spending their festive period saving the lives of seriously ill babies, whilst also helping the parents who won’t be able to enjoy a Christmas at home with their family.
For 12 days from December 12th we’re adding items to a hamper that we will deliver to the NICU in time for Christmas. Today we added a range of treats for nurses and parents, including magazines, biscuits and a few bars of Dairy Milk! Thank you to Andrew King and Yasaman Tamiz of our Dispute Resolution team for their additions!
The pile for the hamper is really taking shape now. If you’re a local person or business wishing to donate to the cause, please contact us today to arrange a donation. Full details are available here.
Luton & Dunstable Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Appeal is our current Charity of The Year. With 1 in 7 babies born at the NHS hospital requiring life-saving specialist care, the appeal was launched to raise additional funds for extra equipment and to enhance the unit, ensuring that all babies receive the best possible treatment, in the best possible environment.
We’d like to invite you to help us with this project too, giving a little something back to those that deserve it. Please join us in our 12 Days of Christmas campaign to help give some normality and festive spirit to the parents and nurses spending their Christmas on the ward. We’d really appreciate any donations that could help parents or nurses to enjoy their Christmas on the ward as best they can. For details on how to get involved help, please click here.
