New basketball partnership between Lennons Solicitors and Hemel Storm
As the 2023-24 basketball season kicks off, Lennons Solicitors is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as the official legal representatives to the semi-professional Hemel Storm basketball club, which plays in NBL Division 1 league, the second tier of the British basketball system.
In what was a busy summer for Storm, Lennons assisted the club with the complete overhaul of its legal constitution and framework, as the club looks to build on last year’s successes with its men’s team, through the creation of a new women’s team and the ambition to introduce a junior academy.
Lennons will offer Storm support on all legal matters, including employment (player and staff contracts), contractual and, where applicable, contentious matters.
As part of this brand new partnership, you will soon see the Lennons logo on both the men’s and women’s kits, as well as replica kit soon to be available at the Storm shop online or on match nights.
Managing director of Lennons, Andrew King, said, “We continue to build our links in Hertfordshire – first by opening a new office in Tring earlier this year and now by partnering with a major sports club in the Dacorum district. In our 40th anniversary year, we’re proud to be Storm’s trusted new official legal services provider and are excited to be introducing the Lennons name for the first time to Storm’s fanbase. We look forward to being able to service their legal needs, as well as those of their favourite basketball team.”
Hemel Storm chairman, Tony Humphrey, said, “At a hugely exciting time for Storm, following the enormous success of the men’s team last season, we are delighted to have appointed Lennons Solicitors to support the club across all its legal needs. We look forward to enjoying a long partnership with the company.”
