Corporate Social Responsibility
We acknowledge that running our business has an effect on society. In particular, we have a responsibility to our clients, our employees and contractors as well as the broader community in which we operate.
We are committed to taking responsibility for our actions and encourage a positive contribution towards improving standards for our clients and employees, minimising our impact on the environment and improving the quality of the local community. By putting CSR into practice, we are committed, wherever possible, to:
- Conducting ourselves responsibly and in an ethical manner
- Creating a positive and supportive working environment
- Supporting local communities
- Improving service levels to clients
- Acting fairly in our dealings with suppliers and other third parties
- Minimising the impact on our environment
Our Charity Of The Year 2023-24
We like to give back to our local communities wherever we can. In addition to a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, we like to choose a local cause to be our main focus for the year.
Our charity of the year for our financial year 2023-24 is Scannappeal. The charity raises funds to purchase life-saving equipment for Amersham, Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe and Community Hospitals which serve people living in Buckinghamshire and neighbouring parts of Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex and Oxfordshire.
From a mix of bake sales, dress-down days and donations from both Lennons and our clients, we’ll be supporting Scannappeal throughout the year to provide state of the art medical equipment for our local hospitals that would not otherwise be available through the NHS.
Our Environmental Policy
Lennons is committed to acting responsibly in relation to environmental issues. The firm is working towards lessening our adverse impact on the environment through its business practices and through the services we offer.
