TUPE For Employees
Has the job you do been transferred to another company? This can happen when an employer sells all or part of their business – or when a company you’re hired out to stops using your employer’s services and makes a new arrangement.
If something like this happens to you, your employment rights are likely to be protected by a set of regulations referred to as TUPE.
TUPE stands for “The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations”. The regulations mean that employers and third party businesses have to consult when jobs transfer.
If you receive notice that your employment is going to transfer to another business under TUPE, we’ll gladly meet with you for a fixed fee to give you specialised advice.
